Supercharged Science is a homeschooler science site created by Aurora Lipper. Most of her materials are for purchase, but she has freebies and ideas as well.

2. Supercharged.
The Supercharged Science site is designed for homeschoolers from grades 1 – 12. it is a complete home study program with hundreds of experiments. The curriculum has won numerous awards. It utilizes materials you have at home. She emphasizes learning by doing. Look around the site to see what she has.
3. Topics.
Science topics are broken down into four groups, grades 1-3, 4-6, 7-8 and 9-12. She has the basics for what kids in each grade area typically learn. You can also sign up to get an in-depth summary of the topics. You can use this as a reference for creating your own STEM activities for your kids.
4. Freebies.
Aurora doesn’t have a lot of freebies compared to other science sites. If you sign up, you can get a free science guide with 30 experiments. She also hosts a periodic video telecast.
5. Hands-on.
She focuses on making science fun. Science encourages creativity and innovation. Before you do science, you have to get the kids excited about it. You do this by being hands-on with experiments. Letting them DO the experiment is much more important than reading about it. Look at some science activities. Are they hands-on and fun or lecture and boring? Can you change it to make it better?
