Do Something is a great site that helps you start thinking about service and what you can do to help others. It is designed for teenagers and young adults to volunteer for social change. Explore the site and take notes as you do.
1. Do Something.
Do Something is one of the largest global organizations designed for young people to change their world. At about 5.5 million members, they tackle any challenge. Look through the site and learn about the site / organization.
Check out a campaign. Explore the causes, time and type. They have something for everyone. What might you be passionate enough about to try or recommend for your group?
Explore the campaigns on the site. Find one or more that you might suggest to young adults.
Keep up with the happenings on Do Something by following their blog. Check out the site listed with this step to see what is happening!
Do Something no longer runs clubs. Some people felt that having clubs gave the perception that they were exclusive. How can you share the projects and information on the site without starting a specific “Do Something Club”?
Scholarships are available to people 13-25. All you need to do is complete a campaign and prove it by showing yourself in action. Check out more information on scholarships in the FAQ.

8. Hotline list.
Part of doing something doesn’t always mean changing the world. It might be changing the life of someone you care about. Check out the hotline list to see what kind of help you can get to do something for others.
Find others who are interested in doing something and share the site and / or campaigns. Perhaps you can do something with people in your school or community.
10. Do it.
Choose one cause or campaign. Do it. Track your experiences. How might you have improved the cause / campaign you chose? Would you do anything differently next time?
